Chapter 8: SAE
Basic human rights are given to everyone. One has the freedom to do and own whatever they wished, as long as they do not cross another’s similar rights. But humans are no longer a single entity. With this new discovery, grey areas rise, and someone needs to speak up to help define those grey areas.

Luna was furious!
She was angry at humanity itself. The discovery of andriens was an opportunity for humans to redeem themselves. The rise of the new species was a chance for humans to accept their brothers with welcoming arms. But instead they chose to repeat history and look down on each other, tur
Chapter 7: God
God created humans to his image. He asked humans to procreate and fill the earth. But now, out of nowhere, we can see a new image, and most humans lost the ability to reproduce with each other. Was this of His doing? What does He expect us to do? What should we do?

Father Tusk had a dream. A dream to help as many people as possible. It was a bit of a cliché for a priest of his stature to have such a dream, but he likes it that way. The joy he gets after helping others, the look in people’s eyes when he shares a bit of knowledge just lifts his heart to heights he cannot even imagine!

Chapter 6: Psychology
What do they think of? How do they see the world? Were the next questions to be answered. People were interested in andrien psychology, it was interesting to find new ways of thought and new minds to decipher. It was all good and fun until someone asked, are they smarter than sapiens?

“Dr Richards will see you now” the receptionist said while hanging up the phone. She gave Oriana a smile as she walked by saying “have a nice day.”
Oriana Golde walked through the wide corridor behind the receptionist’s desk, and stood in front of a large wooden door with a shiny
Chapter 5: Physiology
It didn’t take long for people to start to notice that there are physiological differences between the two species. For example, it’s been shown that andriens have a slightly lower muscle mass than sapiens do. The hunt for other differences began, but they only managed to find slight differences barely visible to the naked eye. Soon those little differences turned into social identifiers.

Chapter 4: Originless
The origin of this new species was still unknown, but this did not hinder people’s interest. In fact it managed to fuel it. For back then, we thought it was fun. It was cool and hip being something other than human, originless, but still interesting. The thought of being an andrien excited everyone. Being andrien meant you are special…
But soon after, sapiens started seeing andriens for what they really are...
Not human…

Chapter 3: News
The discovery was kept in secret at first. The researchers who found it did not want to alarm the people for no reason. But a secret this big is hard to keep silent. So, instead, the researchers announced their findings, and started a global organisation whose sole purpose is to understand the “new” race and maintain order between the races. It was that same organisation that lead to the chaos we now see.

Mark Wall could not believe his eyes. It has only been two weeks since the release of the article showing existence of a separate human species, and people are already losing their minds.
Chapter 2: Accident
Millions of dollars were spent on fertility treatments and experiments. Thousands of couples attempted countless procedures in order to conceive but none yielded any improvement. And then it happened, the accident that revealed the truth, and changed the world forever.

Rebecca Andrews was at the lab again. Growing up she thought working for academia would be the most rewarding thing she could ever do. She once believed that research is the machine that drives the world forward towards prosperity. But now that she is actually working in the field, she finally knows how the machine truly works. The
Chapter 1: Fertility
At first we didn’t see it. We thought it was just a fertility thing, some people have the ability to have children, and some people don’t. A few years later, after desperation sank its claws, people started to see it as a fate thing, some people are meant to have children, and some people don’t. A few years after that, when desperation clawed its way in, it became a Karma thing, some people deserve to have children, and some people don’t.
But even then, we still didn’t see it. I now believe we didn’t want to.

I open my eyes slightly to scope my surroundings and find that I am sitting on a chair in the middle of a small room with little lighting and a large mirror on the wall (two way mirror possibly?). There are pipes running across the ceiling, most of which radiating heat. Let’s hope I don’t get too sweaty that it becomes a problem.
The chair I was seated on is not much of a chair but a bench thing that is attached to a
Nothing major happened on Friday, I got a surprising email from my advisor, telling me of this conference thing that will be taking place in about three months. He says it is a good opportunity for me to go and show off my work, maybe I would meet some possible future employers there or something. So most of the day went to hunting down paperwork and filing up forums (which I should keep track of for the next few weeks). Later I go out drinking with Grid, we hang out a bit where he bitches about work and his exes (as usual). I tell him about the date on Sunday, but keep the disappearance and the life threatening challenges out of my story.

Just another human trying to find my place in the world, and I do that by studying life itself (a cool way to say biology :p), and attempting to write good/interesting stories I hope you like enough to follow.
